Yoga Instructors

Kathy Deschene

Kathy has studied with YogaSpirit Studios and is a certified yoga
teacher. She also enjoys teaching muscle mix/toning classes
and beginners kickboxing. Kathy has achieved her group fitness
certification through ACE. She is First Aid and CPR certifiedthrough
the American Heart Association. Kathy's classes are designed
to feel supportive with an emphasis on calming the mind and creating
space within the body.

 

Jessica McKneally

Jessica is a graduate of the Seven Centers Yoga school in Arizona.
Her training is in Hatha Yoga with a background of knowledge
in Ayurveda practices. Jessica is currently working on her B.A. in social and behavioral science with a focus on how yoga can help people change undesirable patterns of behavior.  She is also first aid and CPR certified.  .Enjoy her great spirit and passion for health and wellness.

 

Traca Marshall

Traca is a Kripalu certified yoga teacher, also drawing from many
different traditions to make an eclectic class. Traca is an artist, Reiki II practitioner and is also studying Shamanism.

sessions - work shops - weekend retreats

Sessions will clear, repair, and align your sublime energetic system. This deep energy work helps one reach higher levels of creativity, regenerate, and recharge. It also clears old behavioral patterns and emotional traumas and brings peace, joy, and balance. Energize! sessions focus on actors' and performing artists' specific needs.

Social Worker

Keara Souther, LCSW. Keara is currently accepting referrals for childlren, adolescents, adults, and families interested in seeking professional help.  Her work supports children struggling with mood disorders, ADHD and PTSD, and with children with Pervasive Developmental Disorders. She works from a cognitive behavior therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Skills background, and with social stories and scripting, and play therapy.  She believes in teaching children, adults, and families the skills for the future.

As part of her approach to wholeness, her practice includes teaching some yoga as a way to improve relaxation, mindfulness, and emotion regulation, as well as body connectiveness appreciation. Although she is  not a certified yoga instructor, she does have experience to teach basic (and safe) yoga postures that elicit benefits for children with self-regulation issues, mood disorders, and ADD/ADHD.

Keara's work experience includes almost seven years in a day treatment and residential progream, working with a variety of issues with children and families.  Her clientele also includes women dealing with their individual roles and issues. Call 228.3880 or email ksoutherlcsw@yahoo.com
